Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held a 'Prevention of Power Abuse Training' on the 27th at its headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, attended by President Kim Se-yong and managers at the department head level and above.
The training was organized to eradicate power abuse practices and establish a culture of mutual respect within the organization. The session, focused on the code of conduct including the prohibition of power abuse, lasted for one hour.
Notably, prior to the training, a sand art live performance was presented using light, sand, and music to gently convey the somewhat heavy topic of 'power abuse' through a cultural performance, attracting attention.
Kim Se-yong, President of GH, urged, "Through this training, I hope leaders will take the lead in raising awareness of power abuse behaviors and spreading a culture of mutual respect within the organization."
To establish public service discipline, GH operated a first intensive reporting period for service violation acts through an anonymous reporting system from the 12th to the 26th of this month. Additionally, a second intensive reporting period focusing on human rights issues such as power abuse will be held in August.
