Paldo Techpack Secures Future Growth Engine Through Bold Investments

Paldo Techpack, a company specializing in food-related packaging production, announced that after about a year of preparation, it will add and operate a new compression molding machine this month (July). The additional compression molding machine was introduced to increase the production volume of compression-molded products (such as PET cups) and to improve product quality.

Paldo Techpack reported that the compound annual growth rate (quantity basis) of PET cups among compression-molded products from 2019 to 2022 reached 23.3%, and with the introduction of this compression molding machine, the production capacity based on PET cups is expected to increase by approximately 133.3%. It is also anticipated that the working environment will improve due to reduced production time.

In addition, last month, a new injection molding machine was also introduced, increasing the annual production capacity of injection caps (beverage lids) by about 50 million units, thereby enhancing productivity. Through diversification of production for eco-friendly products such as reusable cups, the company has been able to achieve a preemptive reduction in carbon emissions.

Through this new machinery investment, Paldo Techpack aims to diversify its product portfolio and strengthen its business goal of "enhancing capabilities for sustainable management," thereby continuing its steady growth.

Despite the unstable domestic and international environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic recession, the Russia-Ukraine war, high inflation, and high interest rates, Paldo Techpack, which achieved its best sales performance and debt-free management since its establishment last year, also obtained the global food safety standard FSSC 22000 certification on June 29.

FSSC 22000, an acronym for Food Safety System Certification 22000, is an international standard applicable to all organizations involved in food production, processing, distribution, and sales. It is based on other food safety standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP, emphasizing scientific evidence and a risk-based approach to food safety.
