Kwon’s heart, lungs, liver, and both kidneys saved the lives of five people, and her donated tissues gave hope to over 100 patients. According to the agency, Kwon was born as the youngest of two sons and two daughters in Jeonju, Jeonbuk. She had a bright, sincere, and creative personality. In college, she was active as the student council president and a reporter, and after graduation, she worked at a large corporation.

She was a mother of one son and one daughter with her husband, whom she met during a training program in Japan. To practice a life shared with others, she and her family engaged in various charitable activities such as sponsoring African children, carrying briquettes, and reading books at a center for the disabled.

Kwon named her daughter with the meaning of "bestowing beauty," using the characters 'Si (施)' meaning "to bestow" and 'A (?)' meaning "beautiful," reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping and giving to those in need.

Two years ago, Kwon registered as an organ donation hopeful and told her family, "What meaning is there in taking things with you when you die? I want to give everything away."

Then, on the 1st, Kwon suddenly collapsed while exercising and fell into a brain-dead state. Although her family was plunged into grief by the sudden news, they readily agreed to organ donation, knowing well her wishes during her lifetime.

Her daughter, Kim Si-a, said, "I will cherish mom’s words to 'give to others and live proudly.' Please don’t worry about us too much, and I hope you live a wonderful life in heaven," the agency reported, conveying her final farewell to her mother.
