N Line Excludes Separate Powertrain Operation
Hyundai Motor Company launched the facelifted model of the Avante N, the flagship model of its high-performance N brand, on the 26th.

The Avante N is the high-performance model of the facelifted vehicle "The New Avante," which was released in March, and its design was first unveiled at the Shanghai International Motor Show held in April, attracting attention. The price has increased by about 800,000 KRW from the base model to 33.52 million KRW. The DCT trim is priced at 35.6 million KRW, up 1.58 million KRW from before, and the full-option model has increased by more than 2 million KRW.
This vehicle is equipped with an N-exclusive gasoline 2.0 turbo flat power engine paired with either an 8-speed wet DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission) or a 6-speed manual transmission. Hyundai explains that it is equipped with a balanced set of safety and convenience features necessary for daily driving, allowing it to cover both everyday and circuit driving.

The engine delivers a maximum output of 280 horsepower and a peak torque of 40 kgf·m. When the N Green Shift (NGS) is activated, the turbo boost pressure increases, temporarily raising the output up to 290 horsepower. High-performance specialized features such as the N Corner Carving Differential (e-LSD, electronic limited-slip differential), active variable exhaust system, and launch control are standard. For the DCT model, N Green Shift, N Power Shift, and N Track Sense Shift are also included as standard features.
Advanced driver assistance systems such as a surround view monitor for parking convenience, navigation-based smart cruise control, and highway driving assist have also been applied. The Bose premium sound system is included as standard equipment.
The design features enlarged front and rear bumpers, 19-inch exclusive wheels, and added black emblems. The front part has expanded black trim compared to the base model and added a center chrome garnish. On the sides, an N-exclusive red strip runs from front to rear, and new 19-inch revolver-type alloy wheels have been installed. The rear features a two-tone bumper lower section, emphasizing the sporty image unique to high-performance cars.

Hyundai also launched the Avante N Line, which applies N design to the base Avante model. Previously, a separate 1.6ℓ gasoline turbo engine was installed, but this time only the design is differentiated from the base car. Instead, the N Line has been added to hybrid vehicles as well. Prices start from 23.92 million KRW for the gasoline trim and 29.41 million KRW for the 1.6 hybrid.
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, "The Avante N is a model engraved with the high-performance DNA of the N brand honed through motorsports, and it will deliver the charm of high performance that covers both daily life and the circuit to domestic customers."
