Dunamu's relief fund will mainly be used to provide relief supplies at flood sites nationwide, support housing for disaster victims, supply home appliances, and restore social welfare facilities that are blind spots in disaster relief.

Lee Seok-woo, CEO of Dunamu, said, "I extend my deepest condolences to the residents of the affected areas who are greatly distressed by the heavy rains," adding, "I hope this will help residents overcome the current crisis quickly and return to their daily lives."

The Korean Red Cross stated, "We are grateful to Dunamu for leading sharing efforts for disaster victims whenever national disasters occur, from the Gangneung wildfire in April to this recent heavy rain. As the legally designated disaster management and relief support agency, the Korean Red Cross will do its best to cooperate with the government and local governments in flood relief and recovery activities."

Meanwhile, Dunamu has been taking the lead in fulfilling corporate social responsibility through proactive relief activities whenever unexpected national disasters occur. In April, it donated 500 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross for recovery from the wildfire in Gangneung, and in August last year, it contributed 2 billion KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association for flood recovery in the central region.
