Securing Over 1,500 Emergency Housing Support Units Available
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) has rolled up its sleeves to help flood victims recover their daily lives.
According to LH on the 25th, it is actively supporting flood damage relief and recovery by expanding the deployment of equipment and flood control materials to nationwide heavy rain damage areas, and donating 100 million won collected by employees to the National Disaster Relief Association.

LH delivered support supplies to Yecheon-gun for military personnel involved in searching for missing persons and recovery work, and is providing disaster relief kits to damage areas nationwide, including Chungbuk and Jeonbuk. Thirty employees of the Chungbuk branch also visited the damage site in Goesan-gun for three days starting from the 19th to participate in recovery efforts.
The 100 million won collected by employees was also donated to the National Disaster Relief Association. The donation will be used to assist flood victims.
LH is also focusing on recovery at the damage sites. It is supporting on-site equipment such as dump trucks, embankment materials, and flood control materials at damaged sites including Osong Underpass (Miho River embankment), and plans to expand equipment deployment to nationwide heavy rain damage areas including special disaster zones.
In addition, LH has secured over 360 emergency housing units in the Chungbuk area and over 1,100 units in the Gyeongbuk area to support the housing needs of flood victims who have lost their homes, and plans to actively support the recovery of victims' daily lives in consultation with the government and local governments.
