Persona AI Collaborates with Korea Microsoft to Build Business Solutions Using Azure OpenAI Service

On the 18th, Persona AI (hereinafter PersonaAI) announced on the 25th that it had signed a business agreement with Microsoft Korea for business cooperation.

PersonaAI plans to expand its AI competitiveness by integrating Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and applying related technologies for AI services and business development to commercialize them.

Developing the Korean-style ChatGPT, known as KGPT, PersonaAI provides an initial service model of KGPT that can use OpenAI's GPT model in a hybrid manner through cloud-based conversational AI services, on-premise AI solutions, and Azure OpenAI Service.

As part of this business agreement, PersonaAI will collaborate with Microsoft Korea to provide technical support for utilizing Azure OpenAI Service, improve service quality, and expand the market.

PersonaAI CEO Yoo Seung-jae said, “After long efforts, we have created an AI conversational model with our own technology,” adding, “By integrating the private-based KGPT with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service to meet the data security requirements of companies and institutions, we will cooperate with related companies to become a company that provides safer and practically usable AI services and do our best to grow.”

Dave Sloan, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Microsoft’s Global Market Development division, said, “We are honored to collaborate with PersonaAI. We will work together to apply and provide AI services and related technologies based on Azure OpenAI Service.”

Meanwhile, according to the “Foundation Models: The AI Industrialization Era” defined by Stanford University, data such as text used to create AI goes through foundation models and is applied to sub-tasks like question answering, information extraction, and sentiment analysis, leading to productivity innovation and development into related services. Recently, Forbes introduced PersonaAI as a foundation model, the raw material (data) for creating AI, stating that it can automatically generate AI through this. PersonaAI’s KGPT masks corporate data and sensitive personal information and creates data through prompts to ChatGPT, combining them into a safe service that can be used securely.
