Benefits Provided Including Payment Amount Cashback and Airline Mileage Accumulation
Woori Card has independently established its own payment network and merchant management system, separate from BC Card, and launched new card products. The strategy aims to increase market influence by offering benefits such as airline mileage accumulation and cash rebates on payment amounts.
On the 23rd, Woori Card announced the release of three new 'Card-ui Jeongseok' products: ▲Card-ui Jeongseok Everyone ▲Card-ui Jeongseok Every Mile Skypass ▲Card-ui Jeongseok Every Check.
This is Woori Card's first independently launched card product, introduced under the goal of presenting differentiated products and marketing by independently operating merchant management and payment networks previously handled by BC Card.
The flagship product, 'Everyone,' offers a basic 1% discount at all merchants, plus an additional 5,000 KRW discount for every 500,000 KRW spent. Depending on the usage amount, customers can receive up to a 2% billing discount. The annual fee is 12,000 KRW for domestic and international use.
'Every Mile Skypass' provides unlimited accumulation of 1 Korean Air mile per 1,000 KRW spent despite an annual fee in the 30,000 KRW range. It also allows airport lounge access for accompanying guests. Both the international brand (ISA) fee of 1.0% and the overseas usage fee of 0.3%, previously charged on overseas transactions, are waived.
'Every Check' features a unique card design created in collaboration with Inap Square and offers unlimited 0.2% mileage accumulation at all domestic and international merchants without restrictions. Additionally, depending on monthly performance, customers can earn up to 3,000 KRW more, and 10,000 KRW is additionally accumulated four times a year for performances, amusement parks, movies, and more.

A Woori Card representative stated, "The launch of an independent merchant network will provide customers with opportunities to receive differentiated benefits in products and marketing compared to before," adding, "In the future, 'Card-ui Jeongseok' will become Woori Card's representative mass brand, while 'New' will establish itself as a vibrant brand specialized for MZ (Millennial + Z) generation customers."
