On the 20th, the city signed a business agreement with law firm YK, agreeing to mutually cooperate on ▲legal consultation regarding the Serious Accident Punishment Act in general ▲legal advice on civil and criminal matters following serious accidents, the city announced on the 21st.

Having previously established a preemptive serious accident prevention system and conducted preventive activities, Gimhae City recently formulated the "Post-Serious Accident Response Plan for Gimhae City-affiliated Workplaces" following the occurrence of a serious accident at a recently commissioned construction site.
As part of this, they established a legal advisory system capable of rapid response in collaboration with a specialized law firm.
Law firm YK stated, "We are pleased to participate in the legal advisory system that Gimhae City is actively promoting and to be of assistance. Through this agreement, we will also focus on the private sector, including industrial complexes and business associations in the Gimhae area, and strive to eradicate serious accidents."
Mayor Hong Taeyong said, "Since the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act in January last year, investigations into serious accidents in local governments have mostly taken a long time, and prompt responses are required. We expect this agreement to be a great help in post-serious accident responses."
