The Seoul Metropolitan Government's Institute of Health and Environment lifted the ozone advisory issued for the southeastern region (Seocho, Gangnam, Songpa, Gangdong) as of 7 PM on the 20th.
Earlier, the ozone advisories issued for the downtown area (Jongno, Jung-gu, Yongsan), the northwestern area (Mapo, Seodaemun, Eunpyeong), and the southwestern area (Yangcheon, Gangseo, Guro, Geumcheon, Yeongdeungpo, Dongjak, Gwanak) were lifted as of 5 PM.
With this, all ozone advisories issued in Seoul have been lifted.
An ozone advisory is issued when the hourly average ozone concentration is 0.12 ppm or higher and is lifted when it falls below this level.
