The Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency will hold a "Drug Crime Prevention Campaign Song Contest" from the 20th of this month until August 24.
The provincial police agency announced that they are soliciting campaign songs to raise awareness about drug-related crimes and to create a society free of drug crimes.
According to the provincial police agency, the song must include themes related to drug crime prevention, such as ▲raising awareness of the risks of drug exposure ▲efforts to create a healthy society free of drug crimes ▲prevention and response methods for drug-related crimes, and activation of reporting.
Anyone nationwide can participate, and during the submission period, applicants must submit an application form, audio file, and lyrics via email.
After screening, the three final winning entries will be announced on September 1 on the provincial police agency’s website and official social media service (SNS) Facebook page.
▲The grand prize winner will receive a certificate from the provincial police chief and a tablet PC ▲the excellence award will receive a certificate and a wireless headset ▲the merit award will receive a certificate and wireless earphones.
All participants will receive a large-capacity storage device (USB) featuring the Posuni character.
The winning songs may be rearranged and produced into videos as needed, and used for internal and external educational materials, SNS promotional materials, and more.
Chief Kim Byung-su said, “Through this contest, I hope to raise public interest in drug crimes and widely inform people of the risks,” adding, “Please create and send many creative and excellent campaign songs.”
