Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) will hold the 2024 College Entrance Exam Information Session.
Guro-gu stated, "The information session was prepared to increase the college admission rate and educational competitiveness of examinees in the region."
The session will be held on August 4 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Guro-gu Citizens' Hall Auditorium, targeting examinees and parents who attend school or reside in the area.
Lee Chi-woo, Director of the Visang Education Admissions Evaluation Research Institute, will lecture on the changes in the 2024 college entrance exam system and application strategies. The lecture will cover analysis of the first half of the year’s CSAT mock test results, analysis of university-specific early admission guidelines, major university application strategies, and study strategies for university-specific early admission exams.
On August 21 and 22, customized university admission information sessions for the 2024 academic year will be held. These sessions provide information on admission procedures grouped by university, recruiting 40 people per class divided into four classes.
In addition to the ongoing university admission counseling held every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday throughout the year, special consultations for early admission preparation will be available Monday through Friday from August 17 to September 6. Current and former university admission guidance support teachers will provide one-on-one professional counseling based on school life records and mock test score reports.

A Guro-gu official said, "In the 2023 college entrance exam, 700 students who graduated from eight general high schools in the district were admitted to universities in Seoul and other major universities, achieving the highest admission rate ever," and added, "We hope this will help achieve good results again this year."
