7-Day 'Food Festival' to Be Held... Scheduled Monthly

Coupang is holding a 'Food Festival' event where customers can find popular food products all in one place until the 23rd.

This event features a total of 103 popular brands including Heinz, My Normal, Orion, Kellogg's, and Tizen, offering about 1,600 diverse products ranging from snacks and beverages to ready meals and supplements at reasonable prices. This food discount event, held on the largest scale ever, has carefully selected products that customers frequently enjoy, prepared at discounts of up to 73%.


Essential grocery items such as instant rice, bottled water, and ramen are included, as well as popular baby formula from Namyang Dairy Products and Ildong Foodis, and pouch-type room temperature baby food that is convenient to carry during vacation, all offered at discounted prices for children.


Various benefits are also prepared for Coupang Wow members. Especially on July 19th, for one day only and on a first-come, first-served basis, four types of Heinz pasta sauce and limited quantities of My Normal mayonnaise will be offered at a special price of 2,990 KRW. In addition, daily specials, weekly specials, and other discounted products are available. Wow members can also download discount coupons based on purchase amounts. Applying the coupons allows additional discounts of 3,000 KRW for purchases over 30,000 KRW, 10,000 KRW for purchases over 50,000 KRW, and up to 25,000 KRW for purchases over 90,000 KRW.


Starting with this event, Coupang plans to hold the 'Food Festival' once a month to offer popular food products at affordable prices.


Yoon Hye-young, head of Coupang's retail division, said, “We have gathered food brand products that are usually popular in one place,” and added, “As grocery prices continue to rise, we hope this will be an opportunity to purchase various food and grocery items more economically.”
