[Featured Stock] Oditek Begins Production of 'Tesla Cybertruck'... Camera Supplier LG Innotek Partner Rises

Oditech is showing strong performance. It is interpreted that Oditech, a partner company of LG Innotek known to supply camera modules, is being affected by the news that Tesla has started production of the electric pickup truck 'Cybertruck'.

As of 9:43 AM on the 17th, Oditech is trading at 5,330 KRW, up 5.54% compared to the previous day.

According to foreign media, Tesla announced on Twitter that "the first Cybertruck was made at Gigafactory Texas." They also posted a commemorative photo showing hundreds of employees wearing work uniforms gathered around the completed Cybertruck at the factory, celebrating.

It has been about four years since Tesla first unveiled the prototype of the Cybertruck in November 2019. The U.S. pickup truck market is dominated by General Motors (GM), Ford, and Chrysler, which occupy more than 80%, making it difficult for other automakers to enter. Therefore, the electric pickup truck is expected to be a game changer in the existing market.

Meanwhile, Oditech produces photodiodes, electronic components that detect light and convert it into electrical signals. Oditech is known to supply these products to LG Innotek. LG Innotek reportedly succeeded in securing orders for camera modules to be installed in Tesla's Cybertruck earlier this year. The order scale is up to approximately 1.5 trillion KRW, with a supply period of more than three years.
