Heavy rain warnings have been issued across the Seoul metropolitan area and the central region, with a landslide advisory issued for Nowon-gu.
According to the Korea Forest Service's landslide information system, a landslide advisory due to heavy rain was issued for Nowon-gu at around 4:46 a.m. on the 14th.
In this regard, Nowon-gu sent a disaster alert text message at around 5:47 a.m., announcing the issuance of a landslide advisory for Gongneung-dong, Sanggye-dong, Junggye-dong, and Hagye-dong.
Meanwhile, as of 6 a.m. that day, 79 people from 38 households temporarily evacuated within Seoul city. Access to all 27 rivers in Seoul has been completely restricted.
