Heating and Cooling Replacement... Hana Bank Supports Small Business Owners with 5 Billion KRW Fund

Support for Replacing Heating and Cooling Equipment at 1,360 Locations

Hana Bank is launching various win-win support initiatives worth 5 billion KRW for small business owners, including the replacement of heating and cooling equipment and the installation of digital infrastructure.

On the morning of the 11th, Hana Bank announced that it signed a business agreement with the Small Enterprise and Market Service at the latter's headquarters in Daejeon regarding these matters.

Through this agreement, Hana Bank will first start support worth a total of 3 billion KRW to help small business owners reduce energy costs due to increased electricity demand in the summer, including ▲support for high-efficiency energy devices and ▲support for the installation of electricity cost reduction systems.

For about 1,360 business sites nationwide, Hana Bank plans to provide up to 1.5 million KRW per site to replace outdated heating and cooling equipment with high-efficiency devices, and for about 330 business sites, it will provide 3 million KRW per site to support the installation of electricity cost reduction systems developed by excellent technology-holding small and medium enterprises selected by the Small Enterprise and Market Service.

Lee Seung-yeol, CEO of Hana Bank, said, "We hope this support will serve as a meaningful catalyst for small business owners struggling with management crises due to economic downturns," adding, "Hana Bank will continue to share the burden in various fields during difficult times and provide sincere financial support through win-win finance with local small business owners."

Meanwhile, starting with this business agreement, Hana Bank plans to further expand the 'Hana Power On Store' support project, which began in April to help small business owners overcome management crises.

First, in the fourth quarter, Hana Bank plans to carry out a support project worth 2 billion KRW for digital infrastructure and marketing consulting. In collaboration with SK Shieldus, it will support the establishment of smart systems such as kiosks, artificial intelligence (AI) CCTV, and clean care in about 500 small business sites. Additionally, it plans to provide one-on-one customized diagnosis and management improvement consulting for approximately 500 small business owners.
