Korea Gas Corporation will participate in the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) conference and exhibition, the "20th LNG International Event (LNG 2023)," held in Vancouver, Canada, from the 10th to the 13th. At LNG 2023, various topics will be covered, including the impact of geopolitical risks on the LNG market, recent changes in the LNG market, and technological innovations for carbon emission reduction. During the event, Choi Yeon-hye, President of Korea Gas Corporation, will hold meetings with the Minister of Energy of Qatar and officials from global energy agencies and companies to engage in in-depth discussions on cooperation measures to stabilize domestic natural gas supply and demand and strengthen energy security. Additionally, through participation in the exhibition, Korea Gas Corporation plans to showcase its capabilities and achievements in the LNG business and major overseas projects, aiming to secure a favorable position for future natural gas procurement as the world's largest LNG buyer.
