[One Day Ten Thousand Steps] Walk and Verify to Donate... Daewon Pharmaceutical 'New Walk' Campaign

Daewon Pharmaceutical’s chewable venous circulation enhancer ‘Newvein’ is currently running a participatory donation campaign called ‘Newwalk.’ On Newvein’s official Instagram, photos of people walking with family, friends, lovers, and pets are being posted along with hashtags. For each verified post, 1,000 KRW is donated, and if you tag a friend in a comment on a post marked with Newwalk, 200 KRW can be donated per comment. The collected donations are contributed to support projects for children and adolescents in care facilities through the donation organization G Foundation.

Daewon Pharmaceutical is also introducing ‘Newwalk-friendly walking trails’ by region so that people can enjoy walking and donating simultaneously. In Seoul, the recommended places are △Boramae Park △Olympic Park △Yongsan Family Park △Jungnang Rose Park. In Gyeonggi, △Okgug Park △Azalea Hill △Gwanggyo Reservoir △Ilsan Lake Park were selected. In Chungcheong, △Gungnamji △National Institute of Ecology △Sanmaki Old Road △Midongsan Arboretum, and in Jeolla, △Dolsan Park △Damyang Bamboo Forest △Eunpa Lake Park △Deokjin Park were introduced as good walking spots. Daegu’s recommended places include △Dalseong Park △Suseong Lake △Duryu Park △Daegu Arboretum, and Busan’s include △Ahopsan Forest △Yongdusan Park △APEC Naru Park △Songdo Beach. Jeju’s selections are △Bijarim △Iho Tewoo Beach △Seopjikoji △Saebyeol Oreum △Daepo Coast Columnar Jointing △Andeok Valley △Seoubong △Gimnyeong Maze Park. A Daewon Pharmaceutical official said, “As many people experience leg swelling and pain due to long working hours and lifestyle habits, we prepared a campaign that allows modern people to take care of their leg health while doing good deeds. With the convenient and fast-acting Newvein, donations can also be made easily and quickly.”

Daewon Pharmaceutical is also conducting social contribution activities related to health. The wound care brand ‘Cureban’ held the ‘2023 Cureban National Youth Baseball Tournament’ on May 27 and 28 at Jangchung Little Baseball Stadium in collaboration with the Korea Baseball Committee. At the booth installed at the stadium entrance, Daewon Pharmaceutical held an event giving products to customers who followed ‘Cureban’ on social media on-site. Additionally, they prepared first aid kits to help ensure the safe progress of the games.

Earlier in March, Daewon Pharmaceutical signed an official sponsorship contract for the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour’s ‘TOP10 Finish’ category. Accordingly, the ranking in this category will be called the ‘Daewon Pharmaceutical Call Daewon TOP10 Finish’ for the next two years. The ‘TOP10 Finish’ is an indicator showing the number of times a player who participated in more than 40% of a season’s tournaments finished within the top 10 in each event.
