This agreement was made to promote the establishment of a cultural foundation and regional cultural growth through cooperation with related organizations, as Damyang County, designated as the 5th preliminary cultural city, aims to be selected as a statutory cultural city.
The main contents include ▲ establishing friendly relations for mutual joint cooperation and development ▲ sharing and cooperating on content to form a sustainable cultural ecosystem ▲ discovering mutual cooperation promotion systems and linked cooperative projects following the cultural city promotion.
All institutions attending the agreement, including Damyang County (Damyang County Cultural Foundation), Jeollanam-do Office of Education, and Damyang Police Station, deeply agreed on the necessity of collaboration among institutions for Damyang County’s statutory cultural city designation this year and expressed their intention to continue mutual cooperation.
Governor Lee Byeong-no said, “Through this agreement, we will build a collaborative and symbiotic cultural ecosystem for sustainable development,” and added, “To be selected as a statutory cultural city, we will promote differentiated cultural city projects by combining local ecology, history, and cultural resources.”
