Free Operation of Play Zone at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village

Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that it will operate an air pool paddle boat play zone for 17 days on weekends and holidays from the 8th to August 27th at the Seomjingang Train Village.

This air pool paddle boat play zone will be held at the central plaza picnic zone equipped with a large shade tent.

The paddle boat is operated by the rider holding the handles with both hands and directly turning the wheels. The operation method is simple, so even young children can easily ride it.

The main users are children weighing under 50kg, but anyone who meets the weight criteria can ride.

The usage method is simple. Visit the play zone, check the operating hours, and register. Each session accepts 5 to 8 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

At the site, weight is measured using a scale provided, and if the weight meets the criteria, users wear a life jacket and then use the paddle boat.

The play zone operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Paddle boats can be used for 15 minutes per person.

Based on 15 minutes per session, a total of 18 sessions will be operated daily.

The ‘Train Village Dum & Dum’ water gun play event is also held near the music fountain until August 27th.

Visitors can enjoy water gun play while getting soaked in cool water in spaces where water sprays from the ground music fountain and water mist pours down.

At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., three games that anyone can enjoy regardless of age or gender?such as the Suita Track Power Game, Water Gun Race, and Cup Sinking Operation?will be held.

Winners of the games will receive small prizes.

Water guns can be rented free of charge for up to 2 hours upon presenting an ID card.
