‘Gyeonsodong I-Park’, a Premium Ocean View Apartment on the East Coast of Gangneung

‘Gyeonsodong I-Park’, a Premium Ocean View Apartment on the East Coast of Gangneung

In recent years, brand-name apartments from top-tier construction companies have been steadily entering Gangneung, attracting expectations and interest from nearby areas as well as Seoul and the metropolitan region. Brand apartments such as Gangneung Songjeong IPARK, Naegok-dong Xi Finevenue, Gyodong Lotte Castle Signature, and Kolon Haneulchae Sky continue to be introduced to the market, raising interest in newly built apartments for sale in Gangneung higher than ever.

During this time, Gangneung's transportation conditions have improved with the expansion of the KTX high-speed rail and highways, enhancing accessibility. The city is increasingly attracting visitors from outside each year as urban and modern people seek a balanced life between work and rest.

New apartment sales are planned in the Gyeonso and Songjeong-dong areas of Gangneung, where a living zone of about 2,500 households has already been established with nearby Hanshin The Hue, Gangneung Songjeong IPARK, Shinwon Achim City, and existing Sindobreinu and Songjeong Hanshin. Additionally, a new 794-household Gyeonso-dong IPARK apartment is planned, which, together with the existing households, will transform the area into a large-scale residential town and is expected to become a representative residential area of Gangneung in the future.

Becoming a large-scale residential town brings many advantages, including improved regional image, road expansion, infrastructure enhancement, and better convenience facilities such as education, leading to environmental improvements and excellent living conditions, which are highly anticipated for regional development.

As an ocean-view apartment with rarity and a large brand, it raises residents' pride and becomes an object of envy that everyone wants to live in, which will also drive up the prices of surrounding apartments. Moreover, with recent increases in raw material prices and construction costs, a rise in sale prices seems inevitable, and demand, which had only been watching so far, is expected to become more active gradually.

Until now, the Gyeonso-dong area of Gangneung was known as a tourist and healing spot, but it is now transforming into a new emerging residential town representing the region. Accordingly, “Gangneung Gyeonso-dong IPARK” is expected to offer ocean-view premiums and large-brand premium apartments with high capital gains.
