The National Pension Service announced on the 4th that starting from 2 PM on the 5th, it will distribute 30,000 animated Kakao emoticons featuring the official characters 'Yeonbu-jang, Yeon-dae-ri, Geum-ju-im' for free.
The service explained that this free distribution event was organized to encourage interest in the National Pension, to inform the public about the 5th financial calculation conducted in March this year, and to build public consensus on pension reform.
The emoticons will be sent on a first-come, first-served basis to those who correctly answer both quiz questions related to pension reform, and the distribution will end once all 30,000 are exhausted. The emoticons can be used for 30 days after download.
Director Kim Tae-hyun said, "2023 is the year of the 5th financial calculation, making it very important to inform the public about the necessity of the pension system, build consensus on pension reform, and secure trust in the National Pension Service," adding, "We ask for the public's great interest in pension reform."
