Jungjinkong Takes Action to Resolve Workforce Shortage in Small and Medium Enterprises in Gangwon Region

Chuncheon City Hall and Gangwon Job Foundation Sign Business Agreement

The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 4th that it has signed a multilateral business agreement for the 'Chuncheon-type Job Security Deduction' with Chuncheon City, Gangwon Province, and the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Job Foundation.

This agreement was promoted to improve the actual wages of workers in Chuncheon City, promote the inflow of excellent personnel to small and medium-sized enterprises, and support the innovative growth of small and medium venture companies in the Chuncheon area by linking policy support projects for companies subscribing to the deduction.

The support target is workers employed in mid-sized and small enterprises within the jurisdiction, and a total of 25 billion KRW will be supported for 2,500 people, 500 people annually, with a total budget of 30 billion KRW. This is the largest scale ever in terms of support size and support funds among cases subscribing to the regional cooperation-type Tomorrow Filling Deduction.

The 'Chuncheon-type Job Security Deduction Project' requires workers to pay 150,000 KRW per month, and among the 350,000 KRW borne by the company, 200,000 KRW is supported by Chuncheon City. By jointly accumulating the deduction for five years, it is expected to help induce long-term employment of workers by enabling them to prepare a lump sum of about 30 million KRW at maturity.
