Honey Yakgwa is a handmade yakgwa made by hand using traditional methods. The savory yakgwa is coated with honey, adding a chewy texture and a moderate sweetness. The Honey Yakgwa set consists of six bite-sized pieces. The Madeleine set includes one lemon Madeleine and one chocolate Madeleine. Madeleines, which were first introduced to Korea during the Enlightenment Period and enjoyed in the royal court, have been modernly reinterpreted as refreshing lemon Madeleines and sweet chocolate Madeleines.

This product features a design of Deoksugung created by an autistic designer affiliated with the social enterprise OTISTA. One of eight types of Deoksugung stamp seal stickers is randomly included in each package. OTISTA is a social enterprise that supports the social independence of autistic designers, and a portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to support them.

An Emart24 representative said, “As traditional snacks are gaining new attention among young people, we expect that the handmade Honey Yakgwa made using traditional methods and the modernly reinterpreted Madeleine products will receive a positive response.”
