Recruiting Youth Participants for the ‘2023 Youth Policy Academy’... Until July 10

Seoul Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) is looking for young protagonists to participate in the ‘2023 Youth Policy Academy’ until July 10.

The purpose of this academy is to encourage active policy participation among youth, enhance understanding of district administration and policies, and discover youth-tailored policy agendas.

Starting from July 13, the program will be held every Thursday for a total of five sessions, including △ Youth Policy Agenda Discovery Workshop △ Exploring Youth Policies and How to Write Policy Proposals △ Interviews with Institutions and Policy Participants △ Policy Field Visits and Participant Roundtable Discussions.

In the final session on August 10, participants will directly draft policy proposals through a mini hackathon and submit them to the Gangbuk-gu Office.

Youth residents of the district aged between 19 and 39 are eligible to participate. Applications can be made via the internet address provided on the poster.

District Mayor Lee Soon-hee said, “I hope young people actively propose solutions to youth issues through this academy,” and added, “We will expand opportunities for youth to voice their opinions and implement practical youth policies reflecting their views.”
