Jeonnam Sarangae Supporters Campaign Prize Money 1 Million Won

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on June 30 that the staff of the Population Policy Division (Director Heo Ho-haeng) donated 1 million KRW in scholarship funds to the Boseong-gun Scholarship Foundation.

The scholarship funds donated on this day were prepared from the prize money awarded to the department for achieving first place in the Jeonnam Sarangae (愛) Supporters Recruitment Campaign.

Heo Ho-haeng, Director of the Population Policy Division, said, "The employees' desire to use the prize money for a meaningful cause came together, leading to this donation." He added, "We want to continue supporting good causes that encourage the dreams of local youth."

The Boseong-gun Scholarship Foundation strives to discover and nurture outstanding talents who will lead regional development through annual scholarship projects, fostering prestigious high schools, and regional development policy projects.

Meanwhile, on June 12, Boseong-gun ranked first among 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do in the ‘Jeonnam Sarangae (愛) Supporters Recruitment Campaign’ conducted by Jeollanam-do. From December 2022 to May 2023, Boseong-gun recruited 26,210 supporters of love, securing 200 million KRW in prize money for the county.
