Bando Construction Launches First Knowledge Industry Center in Busan Eco Delta City

Eco Delta City Bando Ivy Planet will be built in Myeongji-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan, with 2 basement floors to 8 above-ground floors, a total floor area of 166,292㎡, 1,210 units, and 82 neighborhood living facilities. Ivy Planet is Bando Construction's knowledge industry center brand.

Busan Eco Delta City is the second smart city pilot city in Korea, developed at four times the size of Yeouido. It will be developed as a waterfront ecological city, an international waterfront culture city, and a future industrial logistics service city. Eco Delta City Bando Ivy Planet is the first knowledge industry center to be established within Eco Delta City, making it highly rare.

Eco Delta City Bando Ivy Planet is close to Myeongji International New Town and Nakdongnam-ro. It is located in a double station area with transfer stations planned for the Gangseo Line (planned) and Hadan~Noksa Line (scheduled) within a 5-minute walk. There are about 19 nearby industrial complexes, including Noksan National Industrial Complex and Hwajeon General Industrial Complex, with over 7,000 tenant companies. Gadeokdo New Airport is scheduled to open in 2029, and Myeongji IC and West Busan IC are nearby, providing excellent transportation networks.

Based on Bando Construction's know-how, a specialized design that can improve work efficiency will be applied. Various floor plans from small to large sizes will expand the range of choices. The flexible floor plan design allows small offices for small businesses and startups to be utilized. It is designed with a high exclusive use rate of about 49%, providing a large usable area.

Common warehouses will be provided on basement floors 1 and 2 to store items that are difficult to keep inside the factory. A sunken garden and lounge will be located on basement floor 1, and a rest lounge on the 6th floor above ground.

A Bando Construction official said, "This knowledge industry center holds the potential of Eco Delta City, which is being developed as a future industrial logistics service city," adding, "Since it is the first to be supplied within Eco Delta City, we will differentiate the product." Construction of the knowledge industry center began on the 1st and is scheduled to be completed in September 2026.
