The Ministry of Education announced on the 3rd that the 4th generation education administration information system (NEIS·NICE), which experienced connection delays and information leaks immediately after its launch, is now operating stably.
The Ministry explained, "From today, the 'Performance Assessment Score Sheet' can be printed, and schools that have completed their final exams after June 23 can print the 'Question Information Sheet' and 'Student Answer Sheet' starting June 25."
Additionally, the regular personnel appointments for general staff at the nationwide metropolitan and provincial offices of education on the 1st were processed normally, and on the 2nd, support was provided to transfer data of 13 schools in Gunwi County, Gyeongbuk, to the Daegu Office of Education NICE system following the integration of Gunwi County into Daegu City.
The forced logout issue, which had been repeatedly requested for improvement in the educational field, has also been resolved.
However, the spell-check function, which was provided for user convenience, was identified as a major cause of server overload and has been suspended since the 2nd.
Earlier, after the launch of the 4th generation NICE on the 21st of last month, confusion arose in the educational field as the 'Question Information Sheet' containing answer keys for regular exams from other schools was being printed.
Although the Ministry of Education repeatedly stated that the system had stabilized afterward, frontline school teachers have claimed that errors continue, such as being forcibly logged out during work or entered data not being properly saved.
