On Sunday the 2nd, daytime temperatures will rise above 30 degrees Celsius in most regions nationwide. With high humidity, the perceived temperature will exceed 33 degrees Celsius, increasing the likelihood of expanded heatwave warnings.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 26 and 34 degrees Celsius. There will be occasional clouds across the country, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy with rain starting in the afternoon.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
Dense sea fog may occur in some areas for the time being, so special caution is advised to prevent maritime safety accidents.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in all coastal waters including the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea. Wave heights in the offshore waters (approximately within 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and West Seas, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
