Gyeonggi Province will hold an in-person MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) briefing session for the first time in four years.
On the 29th, Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that on the 30th, they will invite about 100 tourism-related academics, associations, and MICE industry officials to the Gravity Hotel in Pangyo to introduce the Gyeonggi MICE support system and MICE venues, and to communicate with participants at the '2023 Gyeonggi MICE Briefing Session,' which will be held face-to-face for the first time in four years.
The event will consist of ▲ Introduction of the Gyeonggi MICE support system ▲ Sharing successful cases of attracting MICE events to Gyeonggi ▲ Introduction of Gyeonggi MICE venues ▲ Gyeonggi MICE business consultation and networking programs.
Choi Yong-hoon, Director of the Tourism Industry Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "It is very meaningful to hold the briefing session in person again after four years of online sessions due to COVID-19," and added, "Through this briefing session, we expect academics, associations, and MICE officials to consider Gyeonggi Province as their next hosting location and to visit."
