Network device specialist Dabolink has launched a new product, the Minions WiFi router (WiFi AP).
On the 28th, Dabolink unveiled the Minions AP at Spigen Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The company will start selling the product through online and offline channels from the 4th of next month. It also plans to sell the product on Amazon starting from August to September.
Dabolink signed an exclusive contract with the US-based Universal company to use the Minions character design in order to expand its business from business-to-business (B2B) to business-to-consumer (B2C). The newly released 'WiFi 6E' and 'WiFi 6 AP' feature the Minions series design.
The product incorporates hardware and software technologies that maintain performance despite using built-in antennas, EasyMesh technology that supports wireless connections between multiple WiFi APs, and network auto-optimization technology. This allows users to easily set up a wireless internet service environment at home, office, or store by installing two or more WiFi APs without network cable connections.
A Dabolink representative said, "The Dabolink Minions WiFi, designed to harmonize with interior decor, is installed openly rather than hidden, allowing WiFi signals to propagate efficiently, reducing shadow areas and expanding coverage." He added, "It automatically applies network settings suitable for various services with high data usage, minimizing user inconvenience."
