[Special Stock] DisplayTech, Gas Station EV Charger Installation Standards Eased... Korea Electric Vehicle Charging Station Stake Highlighted Up

DisplayTech is showing strong performance. It is interpreted to be influenced by the news of the relaxation of installation standards for electric vehicle charging facilities at gas stations. DisplayTech holds shares in Korea Electric Vehicle Charging Station (HanChungjeon).

As of 0:00 on the 0th, DisplayTech is trading at 0 KRW, up 0 KRW (0.0%) compared to the previous trading day.

On this day, the Fire Agency announced that it will enforce the Enforcement Rules of the Hazardous Materials Safety Control Act, which relax the installation standards for electric vehicle charging facilities at gas stations, starting on the 29th.

The key point of the enforcement rules is that the installation standard for electric vehicle charging facilities is set not by a uniform distance but by the 'range outside of explosion hazard areas,' thereby establishing a foundation for the expansion of charging facilities.

The previous enforcement rules required electric vehicle chargers at gas stations to be installed at least 6 meters away from fuel dispensers. According to this standard, it was difficult for gas stations in densely populated urban areas with limited space to install chargers.

Meanwhile, DisplayTech is known as a major shareholder holding 24% of the shares in Korea Electric Vehicle Charging Service.
