Wemade Unveils 'WePublic,' a Transparent Society Platform Utilizing Blockchain

Wemade unveiled the new platform 'Wepublic' based on the WEMIX 3.0 mainnet on the 26th.

Wepublic is a 'transparent society platform.' It was developed using blockchain technology that makes tampering impossible and transparently discloses all content. All members can transparently understand activities related to their affiliated organizations and participate in democratic and fair decision-making.

Wepublic can be utilized in all fields and various groups, large and small, such as political parties, religious institutions, and non-profit organizations. Starting with organizations managing various sponsorship funds, it plans to grow into an open platform that anyone who wishes can use.

Users can directly create or participate in decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) on Wepublic. Wepublic provides transparency and reliability in DAO operations through four proof protocols: identity verification, qualification verification, result verification, and balance verification.

The identity verification protocol protects personal information securely using decentralized identity authentication technology (DID). The qualification verification protocol supports effective organization management by utilizing non-fungible token (NFT) ID Soulbound Tokens (SBT). The result verification protocol transparently records all agenda processing on the blockchain. The balance verification protocol enhances transparency by disclosing all fund statuses and transaction histories. Users will be able to use Wepublic through the soon-to-be-released Wepublic Wallet.
