Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will offer 5-10% price discounts at restaurants near Duksung Women's University and Ssangmun Station (Ssangridan-gil) on July 1, when the Dobong-gu 50th anniversary festival is held, and on July 7-8, when cultural performances take place.

This restaurant price discount initiative was launched to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dobong-gu, increase residents' participation and enthusiasm during the celebration week, enhance the festive atmosphere, and revitalize the local dining industry.

Previously, the district collaborated with the Dobong-gu branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association to recruit a total of 48 participating restaurants, including general and casual dining establishments near Duksung Women's University and Ssangmun Station where the festival and events are held.

Residents who attend the Dobong-gu 50th anniversary festival at Duksung Women's University on July 1 and the performances at Dobong-gu Citizens' Hall on July 7-8 can present the event guide received at the venue to participating restaurants to receive a 5-10% discount.

A district official stated, "All participating businesses in the Ssangridan-gil shopping district merchants' association are applying a 10% discount rate, and many establishments have joined this price discount initiative. We thank all participating businesses."

Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, "To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dobong-gu, we plan to offer price discounts at restaurants near the festival and cultural performance venues. We hope residents enjoy the festival and dine at participating restaurants at discounted prices. In addition to restaurant discounts, all Dobong-gu staff are working hard to prepare various events and programs so that residents can celebrate and enjoy the 50th anniversary together.
