Lee Oksun Inaugurated as the 3rd President of the Gwangju Branch of the Korea Nail Beauty Association

Promises for Hosting Nail Expo, Protecting Rights, and Career Education

"Creating Tangible Results That Nail Professionals Can Feel"

The inauguration ceremony of Lee Oksun, the 3rd President of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Branch of the Korea Nail Beauty Association, was held at 7 p.m. on the 23rd at J Art Wedding Convention. Along with the inauguration of the new president, the launch ceremony of the 3rd Gwangju Branch was also held.


The Korea Nail Beauty Association aims to contribute to the improvement of public hygiene standards and the promotion of national health by fostering the sound development and technical advancement of the nail beauty industry and promoting mutual bonds among its members in accordance with the regulations of the 'Public Hygiene Control Act.' It is a professional organization dedicated to enhancing the business rights and protecting the interests of 150,000 nail technicians and about 30,000 nail shop owners nationwide.


Lee Oksun Inaugurated as the 3rd President of the Gwangju Branch of the Korea Nail Beauty Association Lee Oksun, the newly appointed president of the Gwangju Metropolitan City branch of the Korea Nail Beauty Association, is delivering a greeting speech at the inauguration ceremony on the 23rd.

Since providing data for the 'Survey on Difficulties and Regulations in Small Business Operations' conducted by the Small and Medium Business Administration in January 2009, the association has actively continued its efforts, including the establishment of a nail beauty industry system in 2013, a long-awaited project for nail technicians, up to the present.


The event was graced by the presence of Kang Mun-tae, President of the Central Association; Song Gap-seok, Member of the National Assembly; Kim Kyung-man, Deputy Floor Leader of the Democratic Party; Shim Cheol-ui, Vice Chairman of the Gwangju City Council; Myung Jin, Gwangju City Council Member; Jeon Seung-il, Seo-gu Council Member; Park Mi-ok, Gwangsan-gu Council Member; Jeong Jin-wook, Deputy Director of the Democratic Research Institute of the Democratic Party; An Do-geol, former Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance; Jeon Jin-sook, former Blue House Administrator; Jeong Jae-hyeok, former Senior Blue House Administrator; Lee Mi-jin, President of the Gwangju Branch of the Women Entrepreneurs Association; and Jeong Seon-gyo, Vice Chairman of the Gwangju Sports Council.


Kang Mun-tae, President of the Central Association, said, "I hope that President Lee Oksun and the 3rd executive team will create a new history for Gwangju Metropolitan City K-Nail with greater unity and new passion," adding, "The Central Association will also spare no effort in providing various support and cooperation for this."


Member of the National Assembly Song Gap-seok emphasized, "I expect President Lee Oksun and the new executive team to lead the branch excellently, focusing on improving members' rights and unity," and added, "I will do my best in the National Assembly to improve the rights of beauty service industry workers and support the beauty service industry."


Newly appointed President Lee Oksun said, "I feel a great sense of responsibility to be inaugurated as the branch president at this event marking the launch of the 3rd executive team after six years of our Gwangju Branch, which is a coalition of about 3,000 nail technicians in the Gwangju area," and expressed her ambition, "The newly launched 3rd executive team will work in solidarity with the Korea Nail Beauty Association Central Association and 17 city and provincial branches to produce tangible results that nail technicians can feel."


At the event, President Lee promised to ▲ cooperate with the Central Association to host a nationwide nail expo ▲ take the lead in protecting the rights of nail technicians currently working in the field ▲ assist in education, employment, and career planning for prospective nail technicians, who are the future growth engine of the nail industry.


She added, "All of this is possible only when everyone present here and our 3,000 nail technicians cooperate and support each other with one heart," and said, "I will also do my best and make every effort."
