Gwangju Technopark announced on the 23rd that it has been promoting the Ministry of Science and ICT's 'K-health National Medical AI Service and Industrial Ecosystem Construction Project' since last year.
This project is being carried out in collaboration with Chonnam National University Hospital, Chosun University Hospital, the AI Industry Convergence Project Group, and the Korea Smart Healthcare Association. The goal is to create a data utilization ecosystem including the expansion of cloud and AI-based medical services and to establish a model for an AI medical leading city.
Gwangju Technopark and the Korea Micro Medical Robot Research Institute held an opening ceremony for the 'Lifelog Health Management Center' at the Startup Support Center in Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 22nd and officially began operations.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 30 people, including Im Taek, the mayor of Dong-gu, and featured congratulatory speeches, project progress reports, and health management equipment experiences.
The Dong-gu Lifelog Health Management Center is equipped with a total of 22 devices, including 10 types of basic physical and functional measurement equipment, 7 types of brain cognitive measurement equipment, and 5 types of data collection devices, providing health management services to citizens.
The Lifelog Health Management Center offers healthcare services such as basic health, aging level, and growth status to various social groups, while also supporting product development and verification for medical and healthcare-related companies by utilizing the collected data.
Starting with the opening of the second branch at Seobitmaru Welfare Center in Seo-gu in the second half of the year, a total of six Lifelog Health Management Centers will be operated within the district.
Additionally, a public medical app that can manage and utilize individuals' health data will be developed and provided to citizens.
Users will be able to make reservations at the Lifelog Health Management Centers and manage their health data through the app, check medical treatment, medical images, and health information from visited hospitals and clinics on their smartphones, enabling systematic personal health management.
