Raonak Co., Ltd. Joins Vietnamese Economic Delegation Following UAE Visit

Smart door lock first mover RAONARK Inc. (CEO Minki Koo) is participating as a member of the Vietnam economic delegation. RAONARK achieved the remarkable feat of being the only company in the industry selected among the ‘100 UAE Economic Delegation Companies’ last January, and has now earned the honor of being consecutively selected for Vietnam as well.

The economic delegation list includes major domestic business leaders such as Samsung Electronics Chairman Jaeyong Lee, SK Group Chairman Taewon Choi, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Euisun Chung, LG Chairman Kwangmo Koo, and Lotte Group Chairman Dongbin Shin, with RAONARK also making the final list. This Vietnam visit will be accompanied by the largest delegation of 205 people since the Yoon Suk-yeol administration began. The economic delegation will officially participate in the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum and MOU signing ceremony on the 23rd, discussing future industrial cooperation plans with Vietnamese businesspeople and seeking opportunities to expand business.

RAONARK aims to promote global standardization in the smart door lock field by combining hardware and software and to establish a fully automated open solution. To this end, RAONARK developed the PlusLink platform to easily integrate security devices such as facial recognition authentication devices and smart safety hooks with its ultra-compact fully automatic mortise lock (the first in Korea, patented) featuring an immediate locking function and smart door locks. According to the company, through mechanical and software innovation, they have upgraded the convenience of existing smart locks while overcoming security vulnerabilities.

RAONARK CEO Minki Koo said, “We are concerned that all major domestic door lock manufacturers have been sold to foreign capital, leading to the leakage of domestic technology abroad. Meanwhile, in January, RAONARK was finally selected along with nine other domestic companies, including Yanolja, a lodging and leisure platform, and Caplix Inc., an O2O service company based on car rentals, in the smart city and cultural tourism sectors at the Korea-UAE Business Forum. RAONARK also proved its high technological capability and innovation by being the first in the industry to have three products (KeyinL, KeyinX, KeyinDB) simultaneously selected in three categories (home devices, accessibility, smart home) for the Innovation Awards at CES 2023.
