The 20 consulting target projects were primarily selected from new projects, job-related projects, and youth support projects.

Through this face-to-face consulting, Hwasun-gun plans to support the implementation of a gender-sensitive perspective throughout the entire gender impact assessment process of the projects, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the system through policy improvement.

A county official said, “We hope that the face-to-face consulting will serve as an opportunity for project managers to increase their understanding of gender impact assessments, and we will continue to do our best to realize substantive gender equality by improving discriminatory elements through gender impact assessments of laws and major policies.”
