This bond issuance is the largest ever among Kangaroo bonds issued by Korean issuers. The number of investors, 55 companies, is also the highest ever. The Export-Import Bank of Korea explained that by capturing the recent preference for short-term bonds in the Australian bond market, they added a 3-year bond in addition to the generally popular 5-year bond, attracting participation from various investors.

Meanwhile, since the first issuance in 2012, the Export-Import Bank of Korea has issued a total of 6.1 billion Australian dollars in bonds, maintaining its position as the largest Korean Kangaroo bond issuer. In particular, this issuance is the first senior Kangaroo bond issuance in Korean currency this year, reaffirming Australian investors' trust in high-quality Korean bonds.

The Export-Import Bank of Korea stated, "Following the issuance of US dollar and euro bonds this year, we have continued with the third public bond issuance, solidifying our position as a representative foreign currency borrowing institution across various currencies," and added, "We will continue to closely monitor various international bond markets to secure high-quality foreign currency funds and provide benchmarks for other domestic issuers."
