Actress Son Ye-jin (real name Son Eon-jin, 41) purchased a building in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 24.4 billion KRW.

According to the real estate industry on the 19th, Son Ye-jin bought a building with one basement floor and two above-ground floors in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on August 31 last year and paid the balance on the 30th of last month.

The building Son Ye-jin purchased is located in a prime area near Sinnonhyeon Station (Shinbundang Line, Line 9), situated between Sinnonhyeon Station and Gangnam Station in a popular dining district. Currently, the building has been demolished for reconstruction.

The registered mortgage on the building is set at 18 billion KRW. Considering that the maximum claim amount is usually set at 120% of the loan, the real estate industry estimates that approximately 15 billion KRW was borrowed.

In addition to this building, Son Ye-jin owns properties in Cheongdam, Sinsa, and Hapjeong areas of Seoul. In July 2020, she purchased a building in Sinsa-dong for 16 billion KRW, and in 2015, she bought a building in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu for 9.35 billion KRW, which she sold in 2018 for 13.5 billion KRW.

Son Ye-jin sold a villa in Samseong-dong, which she bought for 3 billion KRW in 2008, for 4.8 billion KRW in May, reportedly making a capital gain of 1.8 billion KRW. This villa is located in a luxury villa neighborhood in Samseong-dong and consists of 14 households in total. The unit she sold has an exclusive area of 211.2㎡ and was previously owned by Song Hye-kyo and Lee Philip.
