Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam is implementing a comprehensive heatwave response plan until the end of August to prevent casualties and ensure rapid response amid the onset of intense heat.

During this period, the corporation will organize an emergency response team for heatwave preparedness, continuously monitoring heatwave conditions and the occurrence of heat-related illnesses to prevent heatwave damage.

Changwon Facilities Corporation is conducting hygiene and heatwave preparedness education for the elderly.

When heatwave advisories or warnings are issued, each facility will take measures to promptly deliver heatwave information, such as promoting the restraint of outdoor activities among visitors.

In particular, proactive measures to prevent heatwave damage are being taken, including heat illness prevention education and health checks for vulnerable groups such as the elderly at senior welfare centers.

Additionally, the corporation will make every effort to prepare for heatwave damage by conducting frequent inspections of facilities vulnerable to heat, such as transformers and cooling equipment.
