Chosun University Holds Special Lecture on 'Step-by-Step Overseas Employment Skill Enhancement'

Chosun University has prepared a session to provide various employment information for students who wish to pursue their dreams overseas.


The Chosun University University Job Plus Center (Director Lee Gyehaeng) announced on the 19th that it will hold the "Step-by-Step Overseas Employment Support Capacity Building Special Lecture STEP 1" on the 21st (12 PM to 2 PM) at the International Hall Competency Development Room.

The University Job Plus Center conducted a demand survey on the countries where students want to find employment and prepared this special lecture to provide information on overseas employment and foreign-affiliated companies based on the results.


Through this special lecture, students are expected to establish employment preparation strategies for English-speaking and Asian regions, engage in in-depth mentoring with various experts, and receive support for overseas employment.


The lecture topics are twofold: "U.S. Employment Strategies" and "Characteristics of Employment in Asian Countries."


During the "U.S. Employment Strategies" session, participants will learn about salaries, working conditions, and working hours in Korean and U.S. companies, and analyze the qualities desired by U.S. companies and the necessary documents for applying to U.S. companies.


The "Characteristics of Employment in Asian Countries" lecture will cover the characteristics of overseas employment, the industrial characteristics of Asian countries overall, industrial structure and Korean companies' expansion, as well as major job roles and prospects by country.


The University Job Plus Center will also provide various benefits such as the Employment Tree Scholarship and Cultural Mileage support to students participating in the special lecture.


Meanwhile, the "Step-by-Step Overseas Employment Support Capacity Building Special Lecture STEP 2" will be held on the 28th.


Lee Gyehaeng, Director of the Chosun University University Job Plus Center, said, "We expect to play a significant role in revitalizing youth employment by actively promoting career and employment support programs and youth employment policies to local youth and enrolled students."
