The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology recently obtained a 5-year accreditation for its Bachelor of Nursing program in the ‘2023 First Half Nursing Education Accreditation Evaluation’ conducted by the Korea Accreditation Board of Nursing Education.
The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology received excellent evaluations in all six areas: vision and management system, curriculum, students, faculty, facilities and equipment, and educational outcomes, earning the 5-year accreditation. The accreditation period is from December 11, 2023, to December 10, 2028.
The recently revised 4th cycle nursing education accreditation program emphasizes establishing an autonomous quality management system for nursing education, enhancing the quality of nursing education, establishing program accountability, providing reliable information to nursing education stakeholders, and securing a quality assurance system for nursing education that meets international standards.
Since its establishment in 2009, the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has continuously obtained 5-year accreditation through the 4th cycle with the vision of becoming ‘a top-level nursing department contributing to the promotion of future human health.’
Department Head Kang Hyo-jung stated, “We will continue to provide higher-level nursing education to cultivate excellent nursing personnel.”
