Ulsan City Marine Fisheries Department, Environmental Cleanup and Promotion Activities
Ulsan City has launched a campaign to eradicate the 'tent tribe' that occupies Jujeon Mongdol Beach for extended periods.
On the 17th at 10 a.m., Ulsan City began an 'environmental cleanup promotion activity' around Jujeon Mongdol Beach in Dong-gu.
This activity was organized to eliminate damage to public waters and marine environmental pollution caused by long-term camping tents around Jujeon Mongdol Beach, which intensifies during the summer season, with employees from Ulsan City's Marine Fisheries Department volunteering.
Participants in the event will move along Jujeon Mongdol Beach, promoting the cessation of cooking activities and long-term tent installations, encouraging visitors to take their trash with them, and conducting beach cleanups.
An official from Ulsan City stated, "We plan to continue activities to preserve Jujeon Mongdol Beach in Dong-gu and Sanha Mongdol Beach in Buk-gu," adding, "We hope all citizens will join in preserving Mongdol Beach, a pride of Ulsan."
