At around 5:24 PM on the 15th, a fire of unknown cause broke out at a factory in Jungri-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu.
The fire department issued a Level 1 response at 5:31 PM, 7 minutes after the fire started, and later escalated it to Level 2 at around 5:47 PM, with the Daegu Fire Headquarters chief declaring command authority.
The Daegu Fire and Safety Headquarters deployed 169 firefighters, 4 helicopters, and 60 vehicles to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The fire authorities are investigating whether there are any casualties and the cause of the fire.
