A considerable number of people are already participating in walking and writing activities. According to Statistics Korea, the proportion of citizens who regularly engage in physical activities such as walking, hiking, and cycling (physical activity practice rate) reached 45.5% last year. Various local governments have created walking-friendly trails like Dullegil, and diverse sectors encourage activities to protect brain health, such as donation participation through walking and Bible transcription.

However, most of these walking and writing campaigns have been independently conducted by local governments, companies, or related associations and organizations, failing to evolve into a nationwide movement. Even when campaigns are held, they tend to be one-off events, losing momentum. The Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters aims to overcome these limitations by establishing a sustainable platform. Woo Byung-hyun, CEO of Asia Economy, emphasized, "We plan to systematically develop brain health promotion content and programs, expand the Hamanhacheon movement in local communities and workplaces, and build networking with related overseas organizations."

Leading institutions and organizations related to walking and writing movements have also declared their participation in the Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters. Oh Han-jin, President of the Korea Walking Association, stated, "We will do our utmost to help spread the Hamanhacheon movement," and Park Dong-chang, President of the Barefoot Walking National Movement Headquarters, said, "Adding barefoot walking to the Hamanhacheon movement will create synergy." Actor and advocate for stair climbing, Choi Wan-jung, President of the Stair Climbing Walking Association; Korea’s first graphologist, Gu Bon-jin, CEO of The Kim Law Firm; Jung Hae-kwon, CEO of Swalabi, which operates Korea’s leading walking application ‘WalkOn’; explorer Na Do-chae, who travels across the country showcasing the beauty of the land; and Son Seong-il, CEO of Korea Trail, who promotes the long-distance walking course ‘Korea Trail’ connecting Haenam Ttangkkeut and Paju Imjingang Station across the inland of the country, also attended the Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters launch ceremony and expressed their support.

Thus, the Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters will serve as a platform where various associations, companies, and public institutions collaborate to promote Hamanhacheon as a nationwide movement encouraging all citizens to incorporate walking and writing into their daily lives.
