The movie "The Outlaws 3," starring actor Ma Dong-seok, surpassed 8 million viewers on its 14th day since release.
According to the Korea Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the 14th, "The Outlaws 3" (directed by Lee Sang-yong) added 120,170 viewers the previous day, reaching a cumulative audience of 8,046,276.
Released on the 31st of last month, "The Outlaws 3" attracted over 740,000 viewers on its first day, reached 3 million viewers by the 4th day, and 5 million by the 6th day. On its 14th day, it conquered the 8 million mark, signaling a positive outlook for surpassing 10 million. This pace is four days faster than its predecessor, "The Outlaws 2," which drew 10 million viewers after its release in May last year.
The film depicts detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) moving to the Seoul Metropolitan Investigation Unit and launching a crackdown operation to catch Ju Seong-cheol (Lee Joon-hyuk), the mastermind behind a new type of drug crime, and another villain involved in the drug case, Ricky (Aoki Munetaka).
