LG HelloVision Hello Mobile announced on the 14th that it will conduct a discount promotion on communication fees to provide reasonable 5G services. The promotional plan, called ‘5G Light 12GB,’ offers 12GB of data and was launched on the 1st of this month through the online direct mall at 37,000 KRW per month (previously 50,000 KRW). Combining popular premium 5G devices such as the Galaxy S23 with an affordable 5G unlimited plan is expected to be an alternative to reduce household communication expenses.

Hello Mobile is running this promotion to allow easy entry into 5G budget phones. Compared to competitors, it offers a lower basic fee with unlimited voice and text and 12GB of data. When the basic data allowance is exhausted, users can freely use data at a speed of 1Mbps. In particular, if device insurance is purchased, a discount equivalent to the insurance fee is applied to the communication fee for six months, lowering the monthly fee to as low as 33,100 KRW.

Using the Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S23+ devices together with the ‘5G Light 12GB’ plan is available at around 70,000 KRW per month. Additionally, the mid-range device Galaxy A34 can be used at an affordable price of 40,896 KRW per month, including communication fees.
