7-Eleven Launches Scotch Whisky Highball... A Taste True to the Basics

7-Eleven announced on the 13th that it will launch the 'Scotch Whisky Highball' as part of its canned highball series on the 15th.

The Scotch Whisky Highball is made by mixing only carbonated water with whisky without any other additives. In particular, it contains Legendary Scotch Whisky, which won first place in the Scotland category at the 2016 Whisky Awards. It uses premium underground water sourced from granite in the Tomatin region of Scotland and features a rich oak aroma.

7-Eleven currently offers eight types of canned highballs, including salty highball and malt whisky highball. Last month, total highball product sales increased by 50% compared to the previous month.

A 7-Eleven representative said, “As the trend of highballs is moving towards those made with whisky, we aimed to discover highballs containing excellent quality whisky that has been verified overseas first. We will continue to actively source highly rated products using our global network.”
