On the 12th, the Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation selected 22 representative summer tourist destinations in the Gyeongbuk region ahead of the peak summer vacation season.
Focusing on summer tourist spots recommended by 22 cities and counties, the Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation selected 22 tourist destinations in Gyeongbuk that can be enjoyed by all generations including the MZ generation, featuring activities to beat the heat such as beaches for water play, and summer flower photo zones that can only be enjoyed during the summer season.
The Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation stated, “Although there are 23 cities and counties in the Gyeongbuk region, we selected 22 tourist destinations excluding Gunwi, as Gunwi will be incorporated into Daegu on July 1.”
The 22 recommended summer tourist destinations by the Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation are Pohang Songdo Beach, Gyeongju Yangnam Columnar Jointing Area, Yeongcheon Imgogang Riverside Park, Gimcheon Cheongjeongbo Rainbow Zip Wire & Skywalk, Andong Gyemyeongsan Natural Recreation Forest, Gumi Geumosan Daehye Waterfall, Yeongju Yeongjuho Auto Camping Site, Sangju Macmundong Pine Forest, Mungyeong Seonyugugok, Gyeongsan Samseonghyeon History and Culture Park, Uiseong Gounsa Temple, Cheongsong Juwangsan & Jusanchi, Yeongyang Yeongyang International Dark Sky Park, Yeongdeok Blue Road, Cheongdo Yudeungyeonji, Goryeong Daegaya Living Village, Seongju Gayasan Auto Camping Site, Chilgok Chilgokbo Four Seasons Sledding Park, Yecheon Yecheon Samgang Cultural Complex, Bonghwa Chukseosa Temple, Uljin Jukbyeon Coastal Sky Rail, and Ulleung Cheonbu Undersea Observatory.
